According to the most recent reporting: Iran just launched dozens of missiles into Israel. They reached as far as Tel Aviv. They were targeting three military bases. 80% of the missiles found their targets. No deaths are reported this far, but there are two people with minor shrapnel injuries. Iran claims it is in response to the recent assassinations of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders by Israel. Iran also warns of dire consequences for any further escalation.
This seems to align with the last volley of missiles from Iran a while back. It looks like a warning. The majority of missiles got through, so the vaunted Iron Dome isn't any real defense. And the targets are strictly military and intended to cause minimal death (as a stark contrast to Israel's tactics).
We'll see what happens as more info comes in.
Escalation
Escalation
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.
Re: Escalation
I'm so frustrated with the administration's response to this whole thing, letting Netanyahoo pretty much drive us into WWIII. And the seeming disregard for Palestinian civilian lives is disgusting.
Re: Escalation
Same and I just can't imagine anything's going to be solved for months. Can't even imagine what the shape of a solution will be at this point. Oh hello there here I come with your water.
