Woof. This is a rough era for me to listen to.

So I know this era is not for me, but it's so foreign to my tastes that I can't tell if it's good or bad, right? It's orchestral and I know that I know nothing about this type of music, so maybe it's good? I just know I don't enjoy it.

It's hard to separate this from the awesome holiday associations that I have with it. So I love it.

It's nice to have the reaffirmation of the sense that there was, in fact, no golden past free from racism where we all just linked arms and respected one another. This is particularly true given the current political nonsense around school boards.
Re: Deathless
Yowch. No kidding.
Re: Deathless
Better Betty Hutton
Re: Deathless
Yeah- wow. That's great.

TGIF!
Re: Deathless
Okay. So it appears I have some work to do here. So to start, we generally don’t give a “morning” greeting if it not between the hours of 5 and 10 am. Also, and I think this is universally accepted, we don’t use an acronym that refers to a specific day of the week if it’s not that day. So just like how we would not say “Thank God it’s Friday” if it’s any day other than Friday, we wouldn’t use the acronym TGIF unless it was Friday.
Any questions?

Oh no! How will Tahlvin remember to post once these lists are done? The thread will die!
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.

Tahlvin has already plotted some other series we don't even imagine yet.

Okay, Mike. Mike, okay. Good effort. I appreciate the attempt. But we need to get it a little bit closer to the "morning window" we talked about earlier. So between the hours of 5 am and 10 am. This was close, and I like how you improved greatly over last time. But let's shoot for the morning window next time.

Gran Gran used to listen to this. I love it.
Re: Deathless
So... 11:51am ISN'T morning? What do I say there? Good day? Cuz that's so antiquated. Good pre-noon? Now I'm just being pretentious. Help me, because I'm really lost here.Kyle wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 12:02 pmOkay, Mike. Mike, okay. Good effort. I appreciate the attempt. Love the Ink Spots, Doo Wop pioneers, vocal group pioneers, talking bass pioneers, rhythm and blues pioneers, but yeah not this.
Re: Deathless
Still an ethnic slur.
