Keira Knightley's Biggest Movies AfI (Complete)
Keira Knightley's Biggest Movies AfI (Complete)
The Adjusted for Inflation Bureau is stolen from poorpete (who first had the idea to make this a game here), who stole it from Doug Benson at Doug Loves Movies (which everyone should be listening to) who stole it from Sirius XM Radio host Ron Bennington. Here's the rules:
1- Post up with a movie of Keira Knightley that you think has the highest domestic box office gross adjusted for inflation. Thus, even though the new Star Wars movie is the highest grossing domestic earner, if we adjust for inflation, the title actually goes to Gone With the Wind. This includes cameos, if they are listed for the actor on boxofficemojo.
2- After you make a post- you can only guess again AFTER I HAVE TOLD YOU IF YOU ARE RIGHT AND HAVE AWARDED POINTS. Thus, if you make a guess- please don't guess again until I've acknowledged your guess.
3- Your guess must be done off the top of your head. No research. No googling. No referring to Imdb. Obviously, no referring to Box Office Mojo. Just use your brain.
4- This game is on the honor's system. But if you cheat, please understand that you're just ruining the game for everyone. There's nothing at stake. We're just all trying to have fun.
5- Points are awarded only for the top 20 movies of the actor, in reverse order of their place on the list. Thus, 1 point for the 20th movie. 20 points for the top movie. 5 points will be awarded to the person who guessed the lowest ranked movie of all the guesses. 10 points will be awarded if a person guesses the lowest ranked movie.
I will try to periodically update this first post with all the guesses, points awarded and standings.

1- Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

I'm not a stickler for exact titles, as long as it's clear which movie you meant (which it is-- although I don't know if it's in her top twenty).

It counts. She wasn't a body double, she played the role of a body double.

Re: Keira Knightley's Biggest Movies AfI
I think all that's left that I've seen of her work is the 2nd pirates movie. What that's called I have no idea.
Pirates of the Carribean - The Latest One, Hold a Sec I'll Figure It Out, Dead Men Walking Hard Rain Man with The Golden Armed and Dangerous Liasions

Re: Keira Knightley's Biggest Movies AfI
My second guess is Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
EDIT: She wasn't in the most recent one, Pete. I have another guess if Kyle rules that Pete was thinking of the film I guessed... that was the 2nd one, for the record

Re: Keira Knightley's Biggest Movies AfI
Dammit, that's the second one, right. Okay two more.
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man Tells No Tales?
Edit: not even in a cameo? Dammit. Well, I'll always have The Rock.

The Hole.
I'm not going to be able to come up with enough films for her, so I'm going the other way.

No second guesses. He clearly was guessing at the latest movie- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
