But Aidan really wants to do a bit on the podcast, and his work schedule hasn't allowed him to do much with me on it for a few weeks, so maybe he and I will record something in the next day or two and we'll just be late this week. Maybe not though. Things get crazy fast. We'll see.

That's a good choice of words, Ron. But the truth is... I COULD have gotten an episode recorded last night. At least a short one. But I was too tired. I camped in a tent with Noah all weekend, and then when we got back from Cub Scout Camp, I had to get Eli to a Boy Scout ceremony/event, followed by a regular Boy Scout meeting, followed by a regular Cub Scout meeting. By the time I got home, I was exhausted. I COULD have recorded, and I even got my show notes ready while watching an episode of Firefly. But it hurt my brain so much to think about recording that I decided to watch another episode of Firefly and then fall asleep.

See, in that particular moment and state of mind, I decided that an episode of a TV show I've seen five times already was more important than making something for you. I'm a bad person. Although the episode in question was "Our Mrs. Reynolds", so that's got to count for something.
