You really have to wonder at the internal experience of such a person. Nebraska did amend its whole constitution to prevent any possibility of gay marriage, and then suddenly the U.S. pulled the rug out from under them. It must be very frustrating to true believers who feel personally threatened. Remember the speech coach they fired from Catholic school because he wanted to marry his boyfriend? It was ok to have a boyfriend, winkwink nudgenudge, but don't try to marry him, right? Not everyone can be fired, so what recourse remains?

I want to sue a lot of people and things where there is no other recourse, like people who lie about climate change and anyone who ever pushes a baby back up inside a birthing lady because "the doctor isn't here yet". But hopefully some of the latter get sued anyway.
