I love dice. I know they're highly personal things. I have several sets of the metal and gem dice from Crystal Caste, both the 16mm and 12mm mini sets. I prefer my dice to feel heavy and solid when I'm rattling them around and getting ready to toss them. I'm really looking forward to getting the dice from the KickStarter and seeing how they feel. Based on the pictures, they'll be gorgeous! Even though most of my gaming nowadays is done online, and most of dice rolling is virtual rolling via dice bots, I still can't help collecting interesting sets of dice.

What do the rest of you look for in your dice?

Easy to read numbers. Translucent or clear. I do not usually like opaques. I don't go in for the mini dice. Colorful, but not too busy.. Nice rounded corners and smooth edges.

Cobalt blue is my favorite color...the shade of the glass knick knacks my grandmother had.
