Favorite Superhero Movie

Okay everybody. Let's hear it.

Mine's probably obvious, but: Jonathan Hensleigh's The Punisher

Does it have to be a movie? My favorite superhero thing so far is season 1 of Daredevil (haven't watched season 2 yet).

If it's a movie, probably The Dark Knight, but I haven seen any of the recent Marvel movies.

Hmm, I'm not big into comics, but I like most of the Marvel movies, so I may be considered a bit of a heretic by some. But of the superhero movies I've watched recently, I'd have to say my favorites are Guardians of the Galaxy and Antman.

I was really into comics when I was younger, which may be why I don't like the X-Men movies as much as I enjoy the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as X-Men and Iron Man were my favorites growing up, and I didnt really like the way they treated some of the X-Men in the earlier films.

That being said, I havent seen either of the ones you mentioned, even though Darcs owns Guardians. He's invited me to come watch it on a couple occasions, but my wife's insanely busy schedule hasn't allowed for that yet. I'd really like to see it, though.

Maybe a better topic would be Least Favorite Superhero Movie.

And Akiva, I've heard great things about Daredevil and Jessica Jones, but I've been so busy I havent been able to watch them yet, though I understand the guy playing Foggy Nelson was the bruiser from The Mighty Ducks , so I definitely want to catch up.

My favorite superhero move is Zoom. I know it is kind of terrible, but it has Tim Allen and is kinda goofy and fun. I watch it anytime I see it.

I always confuse Zoom with Sky High, but I think Zoom is the one I liked better.

runner up for TV would be the TV show "Heroes" but only through season 3

Season 2 of Heroes left such a bad taste in my mouth that it kind of ruined the whole series for me.

Their original plan had been to focus on an entirely new set of heroes and villains each season, but the characters became too beloved, and the money was too good. And then the writers' strike screwed up everything. It was never the same for me.

But I loved season 1.

But it also gave us Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog. So... silver lining.
