Good morning! A little early this morning, since I have to get my son up early so he can go to swim practice. It's a blessing and a curse: only the varsity swimmers have to attend morning practice, so yeah for making varsity, and boo for having to get up earlier two days each week!

Good morning! I’m on day two of getting up at five and doing shoulder exercises (I tore both rotator cuffs twenty years ago and it’s starting to catch up with me when it gets cold) and yin yoga stretches. I’m not wild about the exercises, but it’s all worth it for the yoga. Five minute deep stretches are an amazing way to wake up in the morning!

Wow! Made progress on two long-standing issues at work AND learned how to use a new tech-toy in the process. The LinkRunner AT 2000 is soooooooo cool!

Between traveling 3 of the past 6 weeks, and having a cold during that time, I stopped running and cut back on my morning workouts. I picked things back up this week, including the running, and now my legs are sore. Thankfully it will go away in a day or two as my body adapts to the routine again.

There was a time I would say I was an a-morningist.
An almost 2 year old has forced me to accept the hard truth that mornings exist.
Which just means that if you are making contact with me prior to 11 am, and do not have 3 million in non-sequential small bills to hand over, and you are not a red-headed sub-2 yo with a genetic similarity to me, then you risk being the victim of some kind of convenient and low effort violence.
Since it is somewhat difficult to 'accidentally' push you folks down the stairs from here, I don't do morning postings, because while I am forced to acknowledge that mornings exist, nothing in that says I can't shank someone for pointing it out!
