Good morning! I'm here! Wasn't sure I was going to be able to post this morning, after spending part of last night in the ER. But I made it!

Had some food get caught in my throat that wouldn't go down or come up. I could still breath okay, just couldn't swallow anything. After a few hours in the ER, some IV muscle relaxants, and waiting for the GI doctor to come do an endoscope to remove it, it actually went down on its own a little while before the GI doctor showed up. I have a family history of narrow esophagus, and used to have problems swallowing. I've been on a medicine for it the past 13 years or so, and it hasn't been a problem, but I just must not have chewed that particular piece of meat enough.

Eh, it's happened before. That's why I am on medicine for it. They want me to go in sometime and have another endoscopy, just to make sure the medicine is still working and they don't need to change it up.

I broke the garage door, because I did not get to sleep in this morning, but then my husband fixed it. He has a remarkable capacity to fix things. This is one of the best reasons to have a husband and one of the best qualities of this particular husband; they are f****** magic at fixing things that I am incapable of fixing myself!
