It does sound like an intriguing system. My GM from college would probably love it. He usually did his own worldbuilding and rarely used any pre-gen material. (For D&D, he was using The Arduin Grimoire to add flavor back in the mid-eighties. If I remember correctly, the system added stats, with things like splitting out agility from dexterity so they were independent statistics, and added a bunch of new spells... The Arduin Grimoire, at least the version he was using, was a self-published gaming aid for D&D. It later was turned into its own system, The Arduin Adventure, after forming a company called Grimoire Games, but the company went under about three years after attempting to turn the initial ideas from The Arduin Grimoire into a stand-alone system... but I digress...)
