Actually, I chose the other option, to NOT swim towards the spaceship. But that's fine, we can go with this. At least now I know the Dirkon's will just enslave me rather than eating me.
I am inclined to stay away from the spear-carrying islanders right now, so I will choose option B, I will swim away from the island.
