I did this with albums a few years ago, now here's my work now with songs. My list features almost 1000 songs, and from that there are 23 songs that earned 8 or more points from the from the following points:

Some help

There are three 15 Million Sellers that came out before the other lists were created. The only other list they can be on is the Rolling Stone list, which they are not, because they are old.
The Billboard Pop, R&B, and Country lists began in 1946.
Grammy for Best Record began in 1959. Leans pop (both the sound and the ularity)
Pazz and Jop began in 1979. Leans hipster
Rolling Stone leans rock n roll.
