Questions for Pat: What skills does that Headband of Vast Intelligence boost?

Also... I HAVE a +2 headband of vast intelligence that I'm currently using that boosts Knowledge: Arcana. Does it automatically boost Knowledge: Arcana when I level and use one of my skill points, or do I get to choose what to do with the extra skill point? (I was planning on taking a point there anyway, but...)

AND... if I HAPPENED to switch to a different headband that had a different type of knowledge, what happens to the Knowledge: Arcana levels? (I'm pretty sure I had a several before the headband... I'd have to consult old sheets...)

Which leads me to the question for the party... Does anybody WANT the Headband of Vast Intelligence +4? I wouldn't be adverse to taking it, personally... Someone could have my +2 one or we could sell it when we go back home if nobody wants it. I'm not against being smarter, though...

This one is Perception, I believe. Although as a +4 headband, it should have 2 associated skills.

I assume someone else needs that +4 headband, or the +2 one mentioned above, but if I can use it for improved CM feats? Ya, I want to. Trip? Combat expertise requires INT 13, I ain't got.

If there are no objections, I'll switch the Headband of Vast Intelligence +2 that I'm currently wearing to the +4 that we just picked up. I'll need to know what the two skills are for it. This would leave a Headband of Vast Intelligence +2 with Knowledge Arcana as the Skill available to someone if they want it. (I'm not sure if the fact that the language of it is Thassilonian matters or not...)

So... Official questions for DmDarcs:

1. What are the two skills for the Headband of Vast Intelligence +4?
2. If I switch to the +4 headband, would it be before or after leveling up?
3. When you level up and are wearing one of these headbands, do you automatically gain a ranks in the skills associated with the headband for the ranks the headband adds to your normal number of skill ranks per level, or are those points usable in any manner?

EDIT: and, I guess one more

4. When you take off the headband do the skill ranks go away? (I presume this is a yes... so I'll need to figure out how many ranks of Knowledge: Arcana I had prior to putting on the headband... It's possible that my spreadsheet will handle that for me, but in case, I am pretty sure I have old PDF files that have the info...)
