By the way, China is conducting plant experiments on the moon. Sanctions just removed for Russia, GB in total disarray (Northern Ireland, Scotland, get out while you can) The economies of every town where federal employees live are going to shudder like they're having a stroke any second now (likely before we have our very first European style strike), with likely worse long range impacts to come. Last time, 93% of the bailout went to the top 1% of the economy. Directly. Betcha it's 95% this time. I don't want to say that 45 has been a Russian asset since 1987 (perhaps I already have), because maybe it's only been since '89. I don't want to say he's been a dishonest grifter and black hole for cash his whole career, except those are facts. Documentedly greedy, and selfish and racist and sexist and cowardly. Trump must have been outraged that Cohen lied to Congress about Trump's dealings with Russia. Only his restraint must have kept him from correcting the record. And now Cohen claims Trump told him to do it? Man this lying Cohen guy! Oh and there's documents to back up his claim? What's up with these lying documents?

Buzzfeed probably obtained info from SDNY
Oversold the story to unknown degree
Mueller has incentive to slap down, and setting the bar precisely where they want the real story to be at. (Though, we don't know where exactly this bar is)

Quoting what Mueller said:

Note the lack of denial. Only that the accuracy is disputed. It's possible that we are seeing that buzzfeed is telling some truth, but we don't know how much of it is true. Will be interesting to see where it is accurate and where it is not accurate. The reporter is Jason Leopold, who have done some incred6 work in the past, so has some kind of credibility here, and he has said that he has seen the documents. So question is, what exactly is going on?

The media meltdown over that event was fascinating. First the kids are supposedly one step short of violent rioting; then it turns out other bad people were saying stupid things in the vicinity, like pretty much every day on the national Mall in DC. Oh no, magically that must means the children were innocent! Nobody should ever comment on video again until waiting two weeks for our media leadership to tell us what to think!

Or maybe they were rude kids whose parents need to step up their parenting game before they inflict even worse adults upon the world, and the national mall is a place where foolish people do persist in gathering and shouting.

I'm tickled by people like David French, who just wants us to understand that conservative mothers see their own sons represented in those images and fear unfair judgment will be passed. This is the same guy who also spent a lot of time explaining why it was completely reasonable for a grand jury not to indict the cops that shot Tamir Rice, so obviously the moms of the world just needed to figure that out with the proper empathy.

How many stories in the last 2 years have included some variation of "The White House was unprepared for . . ." The WH was apparently unprepared for a shutdown. And now CNN is reporting that the WH was unprepared for Pelosi to uninvite Trump for the SOTU. They're also clearly not prepared to deal with the absurdist performance art that is Rudy Giuliani.
