10. Ugh. We have a lot of language that refers to "opponent." It's on the cards, it's on the hero boards, it's in the rules. If Shove says, Move opponent 1 hex away from you, then that would imply that you can't use it on teammates during team play. It's not terrible to fix, because most of the time it refers to "adjacent opponent" and you just change it to "adjacent hero", but it's tedious, because you have to check each one to make sure it still makes sense.

I'm fixing it on the cards as I go through them for other stuff, and then I'll do a quick search through the rules (that part should be easy). The hero board template will need a fix with the new Hero Action text from the Powers Playground sheet.

11. Minor point. Right now, all AP references in the rules have a space between the numeral and AP... 1 AP, 2 AP, etc. All AP references on the cards have no space: 1AP, 2AP, 3AP, etc. They are both internally consistent but do not match each other. Do we care?

12. Changed "may not" to "cannot" in most instances. Slight difference, but cannot is a little less ambiguous.

13. Inserted the following under Godball: The Godball may never share a hex with a Pillar of Heaven. The path of the Godball when moving (whether by hero action or god power) may never move through a hex containing a Pillar of Heaven.

Which leads me to a question:

Certain legends are said to "occupy" hexes, preventing movement through an occupied hex. Can the Godball land in a hex occupied by a legend? If so, how do I get the ball back? Can such occupiers be shoved? Are they in control of the ball so I can use a force fumble? If I CAN attack them, is there any reasonable way for a legend to defend?

If all legends are going to be treated differently, then that's more text for each one than we can fit on already crowded cards. So we need some standard set of rules for "occupying legends" (and probably a better name for them). Then we only have to note exceptions on the cards.

Most current list:

1. Define "toward" and "away from" and "most direct route"
We've solved this. Now I need to clean up the diagrams and add it all to the rules.

2. Find new hero artwork. Add where needed
I’m working on the “finding” part now, because I need to relax my brain.

3. Design reference card for back page of rulebook
Dave's already taking notes on this.

4. Move Knockdown, Terrain, Pillars of Heaven and some other stuff to a separate page.
We need a page of game elements/game terms or something like that. The three items I listed above are examples of stuff that is all described in the God Power section, but all three exist outside of god powers as well. This could be the same area where we describe "toward", "away", "goal area", etc.

5. Decide if we care about this:

3. Proofread the last three pages of the rules.
I've finished the Important Concepts/Glossary section. Now someone else has to make sure it makes sense and we have to decide if there are any more items that need to be added to that section.

4. Decide if we want space or no-space between numeral and AP.
I think space, which means just a series of find/replace on the cards, which I can get to.


That's it so far. Figure out if I've missed anything.

So we need images for Pallas (or Sparte, I still keep wavering), Helen and Calypso. I need to put them on figures. Dave needs to put them on Hero Boards. Dave also needs to add favored terrain to each board.

I say we wait on bonus heroes until after this PnP.

Good call on waiting on Bonus Heroes.

I should just use the hex shape icons for favored terrain slots, yeah? I haven't checked the folder, but are there single image icons for the terrain hexes? I know the 13 each full page stuff exists.
