Maybe this bit is key:
"that you think is among the top 100 sold for the week of Christmas in 2018"
Sold... Like maybe that doesn't include radio play? Maybe people adding to a playlist on itunes or something?

I'm not sure how we were supposed to figure out that "All I Want for Christmas is You (Extra Festive) by Mariah Carey" was a different song than "All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey"?

And Alice's Restaurant isn't on the list? Sure it's a Thanksgiving song, but it's a Holiday song! LOL!

The song we seemed to not get the most: "It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!"

We had been listening to one of the classic holiday channels on SiriusXM for (what seemed like) months, so I pretty much made a list of songs I heard played most often. As a result, I tended to be able to get some of the classics/oldies, but not many of the newer songs (like Michael Buble).
Wash: "This is gonna get pretty interesting."
Mal: "Define interesting."
Wash: "Oh, God, oh, God, we're all gonna die?"

Just a tangential observation: Celine does a mean O Holy Night, especially relative to Mariah. Impressive Mariah domination of the Christmas playlists.
