No wait... now that I've reread it, I revise my earlier position. I didn't realize it actually and truly shrank things. I assumed it was a metaphor, but it's a shrink ray! It's a ray... that shrinks! Too cool. I mean, sure it's not going to be able to shrink a person... at least not yet. But if I'm reading the article correctly (and I know I am), then that sort of thing can't be far behind.
