Top Super Hero Movies

RULES: PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Nominations: We start with nominations. Anyone can nominate a superhero movie. You cannot nominate another superhero movie until two other people have nominated a superhero movie OR 24 hours have passed without a nomination. We will nominate movies until we have 50 movies. Then we move on to eliminations.

Eliminations: Anyone who nominated a movie is eligible to make eliminations. You can eliminate any movie you want, however you cannot eliminate another movie until two other people have eliminated a movie OR 24 hours have passed without an elimination. We will do this until we get down to five movies. Then we move on to vetoes.

Vetoes: Once we're down to five movies we will see if there are vetoes to "save" movies that were eliminated. Anyone that participated in BOTH the nominations round and the elimination round is eligible to exercise a veto. If there are five or less eligible participants, than each can select a movie of their choosing and that move will be "saved" and added back to the list. If there are more than five participants, then each veto-eligible participant can nominate a movie to be saved-- the veto participants will then collectively vote on each nominated veto movie. Any movie receiving a majority vote of eligible veto participants will then be saved. HOWEVER- the number of "saved" movies is capped at 5 (meaning we can have no more than 10 movies move on to the ranking round). If more than five movies are voted to be "saved" then they will be prioritized by the chronological order in which they were nominated to be saved- i.e., first-come-first-served basis. ADDITIONALLY- if there are less than 5 "saved" movies, then we will add the last eliminated movies back to the list until we have ten movies to move on to the ranking round. Once we've determined the "saved" movies, we move on to the ranking round.

Ranking: Once we've either got ten movies we move on to ranking. Everyone who has participated in the game to this point is eligible to rank. Eligible participants rank their movies from best to worst- with the best being number "1" and the worst being the lowest number of movies eligible for ranking. We will leave this open for a reasonable period of time, then tally up the votes.
