With seemingly a article every day coming out about the dismal state of affairs at Movie Pass, it seems the writing is on the wall for the "to good to be true" plan that was in fact just that.

So post your OFFICIAL GUESSES ON what Month Movie Pass officially folds or changes their business plan so dramatically that it barely resembles itself.

Mine is August 2018.

I kind of feel guilty for using it 6-7 times a month

Fuck MoviePass. They changed the rules so I couldn’t watch Avengers a second time. A move just to try to limit my “unlimited” use of their card.

August is a good bet. The summer is going to break their back. And they’ve burned through any good will left and everyone adopting a “use it before it bankrupts” mentality.

I guess September 1.

Also- original full members- check you mail next year for your notice of class action. I’m sure that will happen too.

The not seeing movies multiple times deal is no biggie to me as I would honestly rather see a new film or a smaller film for the first time then Disney presents Avengers 3 part 1 a co lucasfilm star wars production.

Its just strange that this wasn't part of the new price point when they originally rolled it out.

And as a heavy user of the card I'm now required to take a picture of the movie stub after I buy a ticket which again is no big deal but just seems like a frantic way to prevent something that should of been figured out day 1.

I'm just imagining GIL from simpsons making all these choices
