Eli- I used Tax Slayer this year because it was cheapest ($17?) but I also ran it through Turbo Tax to make sure the numbers matched up (they did- to the dollar).

Tahlvin- I suspect the same will be for me next year as well. I have a kid crossing the tax credit threshold, so that always cuts against me.

Apparently taxes will be going down next year. I'm sure we really need the tax cut. Where is the "I'd rather pay the same but live in a better Community" option? It only works if everybody else donates to charity too, and if charities cover the kinds of human services that government is best suited to provide. But neither of those things are true.
