Above and below are not real; they're just a confused way of talking about the illusion of an orientation towards the undifferentiated all that neither moves nor changes. If something were above something else there would have to be many things, and each of these would have to have some size and thickness such that a part of it was again set apart from the rest. But if part of it is above another part and separate from it, then something else again exists above the upper part. And no part will be the last part furthest above, for the parts would go on into the unlimited, each then being so large as to be unlimited in size, or so small as to be unlimited in smallness, and therefore meaningless as a part.
