Okay... CNN came up with a new 2017 obit page and it still sucks. A 66 person slideshow.

How do we judge in 2018?

Just needs to be reported by CNN? Or maybe they have to hit CNN, FOX, and BBC? So far all the names off our list that I've checked have made all three. But maybe that's too loose a standard.

What does everyone think?

Has wikipedia page is the absolute minimum. Also you could use sources to determine notoriety.

Wikipedia, sure. But how do you determine notoriety? Does making it into the MLB Hall of Fame count? Some people say yes. But others point out that there are tons of hall of famers from half a century ago that were only known among sports enthusiasts of the time and that none of us have heard of. Who makes the final decision?

We've tried pre-approval of celebrities and majority rule, and both methods are super-problematic.

Oh my gosh! What a surprise. Oh my goodness! I didn't even prepare anything. First and foremost, I want to thank God Above for this win. Without him, this wouldn't be possible.
