Ring of King Solomon
Idly studying the ring, your eyes suddenly catch inscriptions you've missed earlier. Did they just appear? The strange marks look almost like pictograms, but even as you stare at them, they rearrange themselves into a language you can read:

"King Solomon's Ring."

The letters morph once more:

"Demons Bow To You."

And, then, one last shift:

"The Hellgate is open."

The house quakes. A hot, sickly-sweet wind blows through the house. A scream, promising an eon of pain, sounds from another room. You've never heard anything o terrible, nor can you imagine what sort of creature could give voice to something so purely malicious.

Except, perhaps, a demon from Hell.

What You Know About The Bad Guys
Different Demons have different physical and mental traits. They are entering the house through a portal from Hell. They want to kill all of you.

You Win When...
...you destroy the Demon Lord using the Ring. To do this, you must defeat the Demon Lord twice while you have the Ring. Each attack can be a Might attack or Sanity attack.

Special Attack Rules
* If you make a Sanity attack against the Demon Lord using the Ring, add 2 to the result of your roll. Defeating the Demon Lord the first time stuns it. Defeating it a second time destroys it. If the Demon Lord attacks the Ring holder and loses, it also counts as one of the two defeats needed.

* If you make a successful Sanity attack against any other Demon using the Ring, you gain control of that Demon and can move and attack other Demons or the traitor with it during subsequent turns. If another hero takes control of the Ring, they control any conquered Demons as well. If the Ring is dropped or taken by the traitor, the Demons become uncontrolled as they were at the beginning.

* If you defeat a Demon or Demon Lord while you don't have the Ring, you stun it as usual.

If i understand this correctly, we have to take down Zoe to take a ring, then use it on Demon Lord. Am I correct in thinking this?

I think that's right. Pat- what are the rules on taking an item from someone? If I stun Zoe, can i take the ring? Are there mechanics for that?

It is possible that Zoe is the Demon Lord... or the little girl I found... or the madman.

Or maybe it will just be an obvious demon.

Oh oh. I see what you're saying. I was assuming that Zoe is the Demon Lord- but Zoe could just be Zoe- but she's the villain that summoned him.

That makes more sense.

So we need to beat the shit out of Zoe- get the ring- attack the Demon Lord.

Now I am trying to think of best way to basement. Dumbwaiter? Do we bunch up, or we try our luck towards the basement?

I say we all head for the basement as quickly as possible to stage an intervention. Try to avoid demons, of course. Being a bit spread out is good as Zoe isn't going to stay in one place.

Do we get bonuses if we stick together and help each other? I can't remember.

Also, is it my turn and everyone is waiting on me? I'm kind of lost as to where we are in the process, and it's my fault for not paying attention.

I'm ready whenever someone says go.

Am I supposed to go now? I thought there was going to be a post of new info, like where demons are, or something.

I will post up a new thread, hopefully tomorrow night. I've been extremely busy the last few days, and have concerts tomorrow and Thursday night. But I should have things ready to go on Wednesday. The turns will start with Heather. I will also have the map fixed by then.
