Arrow crafting

So... The results of my arrow crafting were as follows:

11 days, DC of 12. Two natural 1's, so I assume those are failures despite being technically above 12. Multiplying the successful rolls by 12 and dividing by 7, I get 370.3. I bought enough raw materials for 60 durable arrows. (Total cost 63 gp or 630 sp) A set of 20 would be 21 gp or 210 sp. So one set of 20 is complete, leaving 160.3 points. That is 0.76 of the next batch, meaning I would have finished 15 more arrows.

So, I was able to make a total of 35 durable arrows. I spent 21 gold on supplies.

I still have enough supplies for 25 more arrows.

[None of the checks were low enough to cause the materials to be ruined, unless natural 1's do that. If Natural 20's have a bonus, there are extra arrows.]

Pat previously ruled that 1s are not auto-failures on crafting.

Despite what many of us always think (myself included there), in Pathfinder's actual rules, 1's are only an auto-fail on attack rolls and saving throws. Even D&D was the same way, contrary to popular belief.

WAIT! I finally found the correct DC for durable Arrows... it's quite a bit higher... 25 So I'll need to be listening to some singing during creation... So, adding 4 to each of these... However, if we use the Unchained rules, I would get to double my craft roll for the ones that are successful... (I also figured out, using my Excel spreadsheet, that I was pricing them wrong. I was including the price of regular arrows and I shouldn't.) [This is WITHOUT the unchained rules, BTW...]

So...

18 - failure - Cost 3gp 3sp 5cp
27 - Success
29 - Success - First Batch of 20 Complete!
Second Batch: Cost 6gp 7sp

EDIT: I had the points wrong for the Masterwork component...

So... if we were using those Unchained rules and I were to say, want to make a bow instead? Like a Strength +2 masterwork composite short bow... The total cost is 275gp, so the sp cost is 2750sp so I need 2750 skill points... Given those rolls:

Cost 91gp 6 sp 6cp DC 19 Goal: 2750 points + 300gp for Masterwork component DC 20 Goal: 10000 points

29 - Success - Bow part completed.

So, DMDarcs, is that allowed?

I tried calculating with adding 5 to the DC and hiring two trained workers to help me... I couldn't even finish the BOW in 11 days. I like the unchained rules much better.
