The Bodyguard got no love from RS but won the Grammy and went 17x minus a round penalty of 4 gets you 14 points for Tahlvin.
Tapestry is #36 in RS, sold 10x copies and won the grammy, getting 17 points for Phoebe.
Saturday Night Fever is #132 on RS list, went 15x platinum, and won grammy, earning 20 points for Zen!
Tha Carter III by Lil Wayne is #437 on the RS list, but 2 points is all it gets.

Tapestry and SNF are two more of the seven albums on all three lists. There's one left, that is #472 on RS list and sold 10x. So it's quite probable (but injust IMO) that on the next list it will fall from the list, but for now, happy it's there.

Jagged Little Pill won grammy and went 16x plat. It was on the RS list in 2004 but not the updated one in 2012. Dunno what backlash happened then, but since I'm using the current list, it's not one of the seven that are on all three lists. The last of seven of which is...
Faith which won the grammy, went 10x, and is barely in the RS list, at #472.

While I'm on the subject can I just ask the world why it is we always need to hear Huey Lewis and the News in 2017? Didn't we have enough suffering? Wasn't it bad enough that anyone ever listened to it? Why would that be the thing you want to go back and retrieve from the 80s and splash all over the radio stations 24/7?

Supernatural sold 15x copies and won the grammy for best album and I've listened to it twice so far... it's alright.
Unplugged was the first cd I bought, among the 10 million others.
Speakerboxxx/Love Below has gone 11x plat, but RS picked two other Outkast albums to be in their top 500. I think it's rather absurd that this is not also on their list.
Rock Steady by No Doubt was on the RS list in 2004 but not 2012. Seriously, Rolling Stone seemed content kicking out as many women-led alt-rock albums from that era as they want. Wonder why?
