Historical Doppelgangers
I'm always fascinated by historical celebrity doppelgangers--random people in historical photos or paintings or whatever who bear an uncanny resemblance to a living celebrity. In general, when you seem them side by side, the pictures usually try to match pose/expression/hair to make them look as similar as possible, but I always wonder how obvious they are outside of context. So here's a bunch of them:

Post guesses, but I'd recommend doing it without looking at everyone else's answers first. Some of them I think are super-obvious. Others... we'll see. I know the answers, so I can't be objective.

Here's my guesses for who the photos are of. It's really a shame that I'm much better at knowing who the historical figure is than knowing what celebrity they're supposed to look like.
2. Charles Darwin - Looks a bit like George Carlin, maybe?
11. Pretty sure that's Louis XII... maybe a bit of Vladimir Putin in there?
13. Millard Fillmore/Alec Baldwin
21. General MacArthur/ Bruce Willis
I think #4 looks like a young version of Pete without facial hair, for what it's worth.

Oh no... most of the historical names I have just because the pictures originally had tags on them. I'm amazed you got as many as you did. I'm not qualified to do any guessing. The ones I didn't name likely are lost to history.
The only ones I knew without help were Ronald Reagan and Charles Darwin.
No... I'm wanting people to guess the celebrities. Like I say, I think most of them are obvious, but I don't know if that's really true.

Obvious Jack Black (1) is sitting right above Michael Jackson (5). And those are pretty good. But then I thought this was kind of a waste until I saw Alec Baldwin (13) sitting right next to Jimmy Fallon (14).
There are several that I can guess what people are saying- like the red haired guy is whatever red-haired actor/singer is popular. Or number 18 as Sylvester Stallone. But I don't think those are that accurate. But here's the ones I think are uncanny:

But if you do a google image search for pictures of Jennifer Lawrence and look a just the first 8 rows of pictures that come up (on the width my screen is now) I get a total of 46 pictures. Of them 6 are NOT blonde. 28 have her hair down, either long, or shoulder length. And the only ones that vaguely resemble the pictures you just posted are the ones with her hair up, but not all of those. You, my friend, are cherry picking!
