Gwyneth Paltrow's Biggest Movies AfI (Complete)
Gwyneth Paltrow's Biggest Movies AfI (Complete)
The Adjusted for Inflation Bureau is stolen from Kyle who stole it from me who stole it from Doug Benson at Doug Loves Movies (which everyone should be listening to) who stole it from Sirius XM Radio host Ron Bennington. Here's the rules:
1- Post up with a movie of Gwyneth Paltrow that you think has the highest domestic box office gross adjusted for inflation. Thus, even though the new Star Wars movie is the highest grossing domestic earner, if we adjust for inflation, the title actually goes to Gone With the Wind. This includes cameos, if they are listed for the actor on boxofficemojo.
2- After you make a post- you can only guess again AFTER I HAVE TOLD YOU IF YOU ARE RIGHT AND HAVE AWARDED POINTS. Thus, if you make a guess- please don't guess again until I've acknowledged your guess.
3- Your guess must be done off the top of your head. No research. No googling. No referring to Imdb. Obviously, no referring to Box Office Mojo. Just use your brain.
4- This game is on the honor's system. But if you cheat, please understand that you're just ruining the game for everyone. There's nothing at stake. We're just all trying to have fun.
5- Points are awarded only for the top 20 movies of the actor, in reverse order of their place on the list. Thus, 1 point for the 20th movie. 20 points for the top movie. 5 points will be awarded to the person who guessed the lowest ranked movie of all the guesses. 10 points will be awarded if a person guesses the lowest ranked movie.
I will try to periodically update this first post with all the guesses, points awarded and standings.

I'm out. I don't think it's right, but I'll guess: New Year's Eve.
