Princess Leia's Stolen Death Star Plans

My week of music selections for the 365 albums challenge has been turned upside-down as I needed to listen to this piece of joy before either Disney or Sony decides to take it down.

If I wasn't clear, it's a whole album. I may have my daughter watch this before watching the real film.

After one listen, a good piece, impressive that they made it work. More impressed by the accomplishment than the music quality or humor, which is mearly pretty good (better than I could do).

A true concept album.

I did indeed show my daughter this as her first view of Star Wars (not counting Yoda's Seagulls song, though she was confused why there was no Yoda in this).

Musically, she recognized "With a Little Help From My Friends" which made me happy. For me, I think the highlight is the Imperial March/Fixing a Hole guitar solo in "Imperial Holes".

Visually, she was surprised that Darth Vader was a bad guy. She was disappointed in him, though I told him he turned good in a different film. She told "mommy" that Vader can hurt people without even touching them. I tried to shield her from the burning body of Uncle Owen, but tried to look anyway. She's now interested in watching the full film, but I still probably will wait another year.
