For those who are playing in the current Paranoia game, you should have some background material in your inbox. I'll be sending more of these as I finish up the last of the characters. The actual game should be starting soon.

Right now, nobody knows who all of the other players are. I think it's fun to keep it that way. I announced on the podcast that Jacob and Aidan are in, but the rest is a mystery.

To those who would have liked to play but aren't... I'm so sorry. I wish I had more slots, and I wish I could run another maxi-sized game like the last one, but that's really not feasible. So sorry.

To the two of you who were invited and rejected me... fuck you. We're gonna have so much fun without you. Tremendous fun. We have all the best fun in here.

Apparently, I only say these things to make Phoebe feel bad (sorry), but I have something I can mention, because everyone's there to witness it:

A hole has been smashed in the roof of the speeding train. Somebody just had an eye slowly and painfully removed. That clone's previous (dead) clone has just stood up and is flailing around like a zombie chicken with its head cut off.

OMG it just occurred to me that not only did you invite non-me people, which I totally get because not everyone can do everything and there are limited slots other people should have first, but you had some of the initial invitees turn you down and even as a second-string substitute I didn't rate! Wow. That's actually cold. Unless... I hope it's not because other people playing didn't want that. Yikes. This is like that moment when you realize, this great party where I'm dancing drunkenly on the table in my underwear? I'm the only one doing that and people are sitting around like, uh, we don't know her. Thank you Mariah Carey for bringing us that. Wow, I get it now. Sorry!

My wife rejected me first, but I let in my two sons. Family, brah. And then I had 12 players from the last game and only 4 remaining slots. Kyle rejected me. That narrowed it down to 11, plus five others who were on my short list. But then all 16 of them were busy, so I went to the "looking for players" section of WebRPG and recruited 4 strangers.

So I really wanted you in, but there were no slots left.

Hey! I'm not kidding. You may consider it childish but I worry. I really have a hard time making and keeping friends, so things like this make me worry sometimes.

If it's any consolation, I'm certain the people in the game would only be looking for a way to hurt your character.
