I am at B&N and I want to get a board game. Any suggestions?

If you go back, I bought my copy of Smallworld at B&N. Incredible game.

Pandemic is a great co-op game.

I saw smallworld, but did not know if it would be something I could get people around me to play. I am not surrounded by people that like that kind of thing. I play MTG occasionally and my parents call it witchcraft lol

something like catan or ticket to ride are good gateway games. Those were the tip of the camel's nose so-to-speak and now we have boardgames galore.

It can be very difficult getting the "mundanes" to play something that isn't monopoly, but it can be done and it is worth the effort.

Look for Sushi Go. Pocket sized and fun.
