Ok, so someone wrote a book version of an important/good movie from 40+ years ago, i.e. the mid 70s, and then they made a musical out of it in Germany, which then opened on Broadway a few years back. The only book about film become musical I can think of is Wicked, but that's been around a long time now. Uhhh.... And the RHPS has been a musical for years too. Uhh...
