Dude, I'm all excited about having a Leia entry. On the one hand, she's strong and likable, and Carrie Fisher just died. Like, under the right circumstances, I could see three or four committed players carrying Leia to victory just as a tribute to Carrie Fisher. But on the other hand, she comes easily to mind and has a very short name, which are very hittable qualities when people are pressed for time and want to pop in, do their hits, and get out with little fuss.

This will be interesting.

And if you ask to change it again, I really will change it this time. We don't start til Monday, so do what you think is best for you.

Please note that everyone has reserve Force power. These are 2 hits and 2 heals that may be applied secretly at any point during the game.

Read the rules.

If you're new, just follow everyone else's example. Just post in the current round's thread with something along the lines of:

Hit Darth Maul
Hit Yoda
Heal R2D2

It's as simple as that. The round stays open for 23 hours (or until I get around to closing it). First round will probably run long.

What if you hit someone who had reached 0 before the end of the round, is technically giving up a hit for nothing?

What if you heal someone who had reached 0 before the end of the round? Is a character dead at the end of the round at zero, or once they get zeroed (by private message maybe).

All hits and heals are compiled at the end of the round (which is what I am doing now) and are considered to be simultaneous.

These include hits/heals in the public portion of the round itself, hits/heals submitted as Force powers by private message, penalties/bonuses for callouts, and effects produced by the Hand of God (unless otherwise noted).

Anyone below zero at that point is dead. THEN I apply nemesis bonuses to those who are still alive.

So someone could appear to be below zero during the standard hit/heal portion of the round, but people can change their moves before the round closes, so nothing applies until then, and a Hail Mary callout or somesuch will occasionally save someone for one more round.

Also, there is information in my final post when I close each round, as well as information in the opening post of the new round. Make sure you check both of those if you want to know exactly what has transpired so far.

Plus, figuring out who the other players are can be extremely useful information. I'm not going to give away any strategies, but there are many clues available to you in each round.
