I've messed around with Hero Forge for years, designing miniatures and personalizing them to characters. But I never pulled the trigger until this christmas when I bought one for each of my older boys for their D&D characters in the Shattered Star Campaign. I bought them the steel one and they were pricey- $30 a pop- but holy cow they turned out awesome. I'll try to get some pictures of them to post up.

Well now Hero Forge is starting a kickstarter to 3D print plastic miniatures (which they already did) but in color. It's freaking amazing:



The Kickstarter is good for another couple of weeks. I bought in for one just to try it. I'll see if I can do my NPC rival bard (who's a human sized squirrel). Link to the Kickstarter:
