Crash is the only one I remember her in that I also know was a book. There may very well be others.

I just remembered another movie she was in that I believe had a book. If that one is the correct answer, then it's time to set off the nukes and let the hyper-intelligent Twinkies start over without us.

Seven versions of [this movie] exist as a result of controversial changes made at the request of studio executives. A director's cut was released in 1992 after a strong response to test screenings of a workprint. This, in conjunction with the film's popularity as a video rental, made it one of the earliest movies to be released on DVD. In 2007, Warner Bros. released The Final Cut, a 25th-anniversary digitally remastered version....
