Euclidea

You can blame my brother for this one. Euclidian Geometry puzzles. They are so hard. I can't imagine what the mathing was like way back when they were first discovering this stuff. Now we have all this technology to solve these problems for us, but they could do amazing things with a compass and a straight edge. So amazing.

Eli- you're the best. This is the greatest thing ever.
If you want to understand OCD- know that the satisfaction of solving some of these is akin to heaven.

I love them so! And so insanely satisfying when you get them. How are y'all doing star-wise?

Thank you for posting this. It's a nice exercise for this math/stat major's tired old brain!

I'm getting real pissed off about the bisecting a rectangle on an angle into two equal portions. I've been able to do it with a circle and a line, matching the "explore mode" exactly, but it won't give me a correct answer.

I can't get the inscribed square (a.7) puzzle down to the right number of elements. I've gotten it in 8, but not 7. So frustrating!

I'm going to take the fact that Flame can't get it either as a point of pride.

I've gotten it down to 7 elements...but it doesn't start on the right point. Grar!

I GOT IT!!!!!! Mike's hint helped. I will now give two hints. The first line will give you a point on the larger circle. A very helpful point and one useful later.
The second hint. You will not actually draw the square yourself. I mean, you will, but you don't actually make all four sides.

Got it.
Damn that was hard.
Now I have all the Alpha puzzles solved, and I have one bonus star, but two more of them have bonus stars in them, and I don't even begin to know how to find them. I don't even know which puzzles have them.
