Cosmos was great. He should have stopped there. Then he started picking pointless fights on Twitter, exerting authority on things outside his scope and hammering down people who didn't agree with him.

He is no Carl Sagan.

And that's just not getting into allegations. That essentially makea him even worse. How many women scientists never made it because of him? Ugh.
