PB&Mayo Burgers

Holy hell. I read an article yesterday that said- "If you're not putting peanut butter on your hamburger- you don't know what you're missing." And we just happened to be having grilled hamburgers for dinner yesterday. So me and my 15 year old daughter decided to give it a try.
We were worried that the peanut butter would be too dry and not creamy enough. So we both decided that we'd put peanut butter on one bun and mayo on the other bun. To give added melty texture to the peanut butter, I also toasted my buns and applied the condiments while the bun was piping hot.
Holy hell. If you're not putting peanut butter and mayo on your hamburger- you don't know what you're missing. It's not healthy. I get it. It's decadent and violently rich. I also get that. But it's soo good.
We both had two burgers this way. We both agree that: (1) you need to be generous with both the peanut butter and the mayonnaise; and (2) make sure it's equal portions of each, or else you won't taste the mayo.
