Printscreened this while browsing for a movie to watch tonight.
So many things wrong here.

Eeeep! Funny, fine, and dear god no! Ok, for the last one, that should never have been suggested, what a terrible error.
The only similarity I see: they both came out in February/March 2017.

Alternately, all four movies are ones that black people watched and enjoyed disproportionately more than the average.
Or Amazon is racist.

I think the deal with Kong is that the real star of the movie is Sam Jackson (for what it's worth, I've seen that movie multiple times and enjoyed it for the action genre pulp that it is).
I understand what you're saying, Mike. But what Amazon is literally saying is, "Hey Kyle! Here's three movies that are more like Get Out." And the only reason I can see is that they've got black cast members.
My point is that it's just funny and stupid- but also, Amazon needs to work on its formula to compensate for these things. I'm not black, but I wouldn't be surprised if black people found this marginalizing and stupid.

I'm guessing you haven't seen Almost Christmas. Despite appearances, it's also a harrowing horror-thriller about race relations in America.

I'm surprised this thread has remained readable for the last 2.5 hours.
It should be an easy fix on their part, maybe send to them via private channels, as we all think this is an error not on purpose?

Facebook decided at some point that I'm black, and it's fascinating to watch the marketing department work that strategy. Total failure on every level imaginable.

Blind faith in ALGORITHMS not only probably got Trump in the white house but makes content video providers just awful curators.

if you redbox these movies (I watched Get Out) you will see the same thing. The trailers all focus on the same audience, or rather the audience they assume they have.
