Sure, but her loss probably has less to do with running a spectacularly bad campaign. I mean, really, Trump ran a horrible campaign too, but he won.
But the bigger thing is that state legislatures, governorships, representives and senators, didn't just turn republican because of Hillary's campaign(many of these things are unrelated to her campaign performance), or because people are dumb.

Seriously Caz? It's a trap.
You have a Starfinder core rulebook. You have far more productive things to do with your time.

Donald Trump won by appealing to white people as whites, regardless of what might have gone better or worse in Hillary's campaign. After laying out the factual case for this, analyzing Trump's support by the numbers and demographics, Coates utterly destroys the "working class normal folks vs. Lena Dunham" argument here. Whole piece worth a read:

Another from the same piece:
"It is as if the white tribe united in demonstration to say, “If a black man can be president, then any white man—no matter how fallen—can be president.”"

I don't disagree with most of what you're saying here, Bone, but your comment about dumb, racist rednecks is your own perceived persecution. The article specifically say it's NOT working-class white rednecks. It very specifically denounces that narrative and says that it's ALL white people at all levels.
Not saying I agree with that, but hate 'em for the right reasons.

Describes one recent study and summarizes a few other earlier ones, explaining how Trump voters are motivated by racial issues.
On the other hand, we've already had many years to observe the way that racializing a policy changes support for it. If I had a nickel for every time I've heard about black mothers having more babies while being supported by taxpayers and misusing their food stamps while driving Cadillacs... You'd think that a good 40% of the national budget went to support such things.
