This isn't really about "touching" people at work, though it has thematic similarities. Conor Friedersdorf finally let me down again. Oy, such a dumb article on that Google memo guy who was fired. Conor has a few blind spots, reading this as if it's about campus libs and Lena Dunham. It's not. Also Slate Star Codex guy, who was keen to weave a tale about women and computing that hinged in lynchpin style on a 1989 study. Of things in computing. I was on the internet then and remember it all being vaguely different.
