It was the job of every Democrat in the Senate to chant the words Merrick Garland and refuse to participate en masse, every time a vote came up on anything during those nine months. Having failed to do that, now we reap what was sown by that craven, horrid little man McConnell. The Grinch's heart was simply too small and therefore could be easily fixed by enlarging; McConnell's is so dehydrated and misshapen that it could never come back.

When W left office with terrible approval numbers and a terrible war and a terrible economy he said his legacy will be the courts. Seems that's all the McConnell is counting on as his legacy too. They should asterisk every decision Gorsuch and new guy make, like they were athletes accused of doping or something. Hey, I'm all for having an open dialog between the US and Russia, the two powers responsible for over 90% of the world's nuclear weapons. I don't think Russia's election hacking was on par with Pearl Harbor or 9/11, and I do understand that the US has done similar things to other countries in the past, including Russia itself. But when asked point blank by a reporter whether he believes his own intelligence community's assessment regarding Russian election hacking, or Putin's strong denial, to say you have no reason to believe Russia did it is ridiculous.
