I've always heard "talkin' 'bout the limit," even though it was nonsensical.

Holy wow. Listening before reading the answer, I thought, "Livin'" but on second listen "Linen" like. Not talking about the linen, some kind of in-joke conversation they had with each other.

For me, the real lyrics often don't even match the actual lyrics, and I have no idea why I mishear them the way I do.

The worst for me is the Pearl Jam song "Better Man." For some reason, I always heard it this way:

"She lies and says she's in love with him, can't find the Butternut. She dreams in something, she dreams of him, can't find the Butternut."

Mind you, I knew the song was "Better Man," but when I heard it, I imagined someone looking for chewing tobacco.
