I lived on the north side for 7 years, and fell in love with Chicago, so I'm thrilled for the city.

For much of the last 15-20 years, it really looked like God hated the Cubs and was rubbing it in. Other Chicago teams won championships (Bulls, Blackhawks, and Sox), another team with long and storied championship drought won (Red Sox), and the team's archrival won (Cardinals).
