How common are Teslas?

I see a fairly large number of Teslas on the road, given how expensive they are. But I live in an affluent area outside of a city, so I'm not sure my observations are typical. Are there lots of Teslas where you guys are?

In my rural area, non-existent, until they come out with a 4X4 model, but I see them more than once a week in Atlanta traffic and there are some parked at work. I like the idea of a hybrid for my own uses.

I'm in an affluent suburban area, so they are fairly common around here.

I am friends with my doctor and we chit-chat about family stuff during my visits. He offered to buy his son a Tesla if he'd go to UGA instead of Emory because of the cost difference. Not related, but this is my brain's only quasi-relevant file under the topic "Tesla"

I see a few but they aren't common. Not rare but not common.

Google says there are 275 million registered vehicles in the US and Tesla has sold around 600,000. Thus... on average, one in every 450 vehicles is a Tesla.
Figuring that Tesla ownership will cluster more in coastal and urban areas where the charging stations are more ubiquitous, I'd guess that some place like Los Angeles sees 1 in 300 or better, and in a rural area like my corner of Nebraska, the rate is probably less than 1 in 1000.
Vehicle ownership rates in Nebraska are about 1 per person, so at a rough guess, I'd say there's maybe 20 in my small city. Maybe

As to how common in general?
Well here in South eastern/ central eastern Ontario, I am seeing more and more over time, but It's still on the range of one every hundred or more other vehicles.

I know, and the price is surprisingly competitive.
Personally I love the idea of driving something out of blade-runner!
I mean shit, it's a bullet proof self driving space truck!!

I changed my mind; I can't really give any money, however slight, to that man. Ugh. He has wrecked the brand.
