Because my "brilliant" haiku were removed
I shall resort to measures far improved
To praise the semi-dear departed ones
Who used to post with us but now are gone
For those of you who also wish to say
How sad you are that others went away
Or speculate on names nobody knows
Although they still appear on lists below
You're welcome to post verses here with me
Free from unfettered use of delete keys
Please post in any rhyme scheme that you like
Or post free verse if you can't make that shit happen right
Our problem here is not that people need
To be voted away and let us be (except Phoebe)
Rather the fact is many who have come
Have gone again and left us sad and numb
:crybaby:
Another tragic problem on this site
Is that emoticons don't come out right
You now may see above that posting "cry"
Will work and "crybaby" does not, but why?
These little yellow faces with their tears
Must capture all our poignant hopes and fears
Sometimes it is important readers know
That little hands are rubbing off the flow
Of bright blue teardrops as they spray out wide
The plain old "cry" emoji lets this slide
I shall resort to measures far improved
To praise the semi-dear departed ones
Who used to post with us but now are gone
For those of you who also wish to say
