Survivor: NPR
Posted: Mon Apr 23, 2018 2:58 pm
We're voting people off the island. Only one can be... the survivor.
Rules
When you post up, you can perform one of two actions: (1) you can vote someone off the NPR island; or (2) you can vote someone back on to the NPR island. At the time of this posting, there are sixty members of the NPR forums, and they have all made it on to the island. When you vote for someone to leave, you just vote for someone that has not been eliminated already (or if they were, they were voted back on). When you vote for someone to return, you post up a name of someone that has been eliminated. We will do this until there is only one person left and no more call outs can be made. They will be the ultimate NPR survivor.
Voting Rules: (1) everyone gets to vote, whether or not they've been voted off the island-- thus, getting voted off does not affect your ability to take future actions; (2) when you perform an action (either voting someone on or someone off), you cannot post up and perform another action until two other people have posted valid actions (whether they can be voting someone on or off); (3) you can only choose to vote someone back on the NPR island if there have been at least two votes to kick someone off since the last vote to have someone return-- in other words, after someone has been voted to return, at least two folks have to be removed before you can vote to have someone return again; but you don't have to vote to have someone return ever- you can just keep kicking them off if you want; and (4) you MUST compose a haiku (5 syllables in the first line; 7 in the second and 5 in the third) of at least one verse in honor of the person you kicked off or returned; if you do not include a haiku or if it does not fit the syllable scheme, your vote is void and does not count. If you mess up and your vote is void- do not go back and edit your post, just post again. If you post multiple verses on your haiku, you only need one to fit the syllable scheme, if the others are screwed up, it's okay as long as one is correct. (5) if two days go by and no one has posted, you may vote again. But you cannot vote someone to return still unless there's two votes to remove someone.
I will periodically update the list below to keep track of who's been voted off and back on.
