34. Autechre - Incunabula. I believe this is their first record and it's amazing. This could be released tomorrow and it would still be amazing. That is all, just amazing.

Amazon Prime only has Stranger Than Fiction, True North, and Christmas Songs. Are either of the first two essential?

Davis' stuff from the late '50s until the late '60s is just excellent.

I have been working all day and all night while my kids eat leftovers and chips and salsa and cookies because I am a failed timelord. Ok, but at least I just figured out what kind of witch character to make in pathfinder and I have some amusing musics. Not the best but you know, I amuse myself.

I like this, but then, what Phoebe wouldn't like Delphic?

Keep surprise-hearing Garbage on the radio, Only happy when it rains. Irony, as people are always telling me how cheerful I am. Where is that little green smiley face that grins with the teeth? SO CHEERFUL! :suspect:

What's up, album challenge? Can't get to 36, which is a day somewhere in early February as the year flies by, because I can't sit down at my computer for a full hour to do anything. Sighhhh. I need a speaker to plug my phone into, somewhere in the kitchen and laundry regions.

Phoebe, some people do 100 movies in a year, it's still a big accomplishment, if you want to aim for that for music. Hope your enjoying this either way. Speaking of 100..

100 days 100 albums in review, in categories, sort-of-ranked but with not too much thought put into it, definitely subject to change. Highlights in bold.

Gipsy Kings: Best of Gipsy Kings
Billie Holiday: 20th Century Masters

Organizing them chronologically is a very interesting way to look at it. Anyway, been hearing this song on the radio and there's a particular sound on the track - 3:07 and beyond - that is so familiar, but I cannot figure out from where else they got it. It will eat at me until I can figure it out because I know I've heard this sound before and it's, like, in a song I know super well and can't think of. Argh! Nine inch nails???

I know, I know how y'all feel about my charming, wholesome young men and their little band, but I love them like sons and this Tear in my Heart song is just undeniably a terrific song. And look how cute: that's his stunningly beautiful wife in the video, according to my kid. The Jr high kids look at this thing and say, sighhhh, there's a worthy goal! (No - actually they say #goals). But how nice! How lovely and luminous and attractive it all is. Here we have a happily married couple, with musics! I mean, I see a little more than that too (e.g. the drummer, etc), but look how totally cute it is. Unbelievable.

I love twenty one pilots and have seen them live. Half my kids have seen them live two or three times. They are mindblowingly GREAT live.

I like this song, but it's so overtly an homage/rip-off of Should I Stay or Should I Go? But I'm okay with that.

The only problem I have is their newest song Heathens (released with Suicide Squad) which is about converting nonchristians to christianity.
