Thank goodness. There were no podcast episodes with those numbers, so I couldn't go back and listen to the nerd facts at the beginning of those episodes and post them up ahead of time.

You know, I just got tired of having to think of things to post in this thread. I know it's a nonsense thread, and you can post anything at all, but sometimes when people have a running joke or an image series or whatever, I kinda feel pressured to rise to the standard they're setting. So I started the countdown as a way to be a lazy ass about the whole thing while still appearing to have a plan. I started at 141, just because that was the episode number I was on at the time and just started counting down. Once people got in on the game and having fun with it, I came up with the idea of getting to zero and then just launching into a new, much larger, countdown... but then cutting it off after a few posts.

Now that it's all done, thank you to everyone for playing along. There were several times that I actually did think of jokes and comments I wanted to make, and it killed me to have to stick with just the numbers. You guys (non-gendered usage) are funny.

And it was actually Mike's suggestion that, if I ran out of math trivia to post for each number, I could use the nerd facts that he mentions at the beginning of each podcast episode. So his countdown has been a journey backwards through his podcast history for me. Except for those times when other people posted before I got a chance and had to skip some episodes.

Anyone want to play Password? I tried to play Password with my kid the other day and her mind is a steel trap impenetrable by others. The words she offers as clues, totally unrelated to the others except by some mysterious thread nobody else can see - e.g. it's stuff like, in a book one time, a particular character owned both a hawk and a beagle, so if you want someone to say beagle, give hawk as a clue! I CAN'T!!!
