So the house got delayed again to the end of the month, but I expected the news. I allowed myself a day to be bummed about it and now we’re looking forward and being positive about it.

We evacuated for the flood, and the water has cut us off from our house, but the river is projected to start dropping now, so we may get away with little to no damage. We were just on the edge of the evacuation area, so we may be the lucky ones.

Films of the devastation around us are pretty sobering though.
