Hey all. I'm trying to come up with Generic cards for testing. So, no flavor or anything, but something that I can create one deck of cards, that everybody has and we can just try things. Here's what I have:
Generic God Cards
Zap! – attack – 1 AP – Dmg 2
Shield – Defense – 1 AP – Cancel card that targets champion
Counter – Defense – 2 AP – Cancel target God Card before it is resolved.
Create Terrain – Terrain – 2 AP – Create Permanent Terrain Token
Remove Terrain – Terrain – 2 AP – Remove Permanent Terrain Token
Create Barrier – Barrier – 1 AP – Create Barrier Token (Lasts until end of next turn.)
Rolling Barrier – Barrier – 2 AP – Create a Barrier Token that moves one hex per turn in a single direction.
Remove Barrier – Defense – 1 AP – Remove Barrier Token
Champion Weapon – Imbue – 1 AP – Give weapon to Champion, 1) Can be used as melee weapon or ranged weapon. If ranged, discard card. If melee, turn card…card can be used second time (melee or ranged), discard card after 2nd use.
Champion Shield – Imbue – 1 AP – Give Shield to Champion. Prevents 2 attack. After first attack, turn card, after 2nd, discard.
Champion Boots – Imbue – 2 AP – Champion may ignore AP cost of terrain for 3 hexes of movement. (This does not include barriers.)
Hinder Champion – Hinder – 1 AP – Champion must spend an additional 1 AP for the next 2 hexes of movement.
Move any Champion – Movement – 2 AP – Move any Champion 1 hex in any direction
Move own Champion – Movement – 1 AP – Move own Champion 1 hex in any direciton
Move Godball – Movement – 1 AP – If Godball is not held, move Godball 1 hex in any direction.
Discard Card (choice) – Attack – 1 AP – Target God discards one card of Target’s choice.
Discard Card (random) – Attack – 2 AP – Target God discards one card at random.
Insight – Attack – 1 AP – Look at Target God’s hand.
Knock Down – Attack – 2 AP – Target Champion falls prone. If holding Godball, falls to adjacent hex.
Earthquake – Attack – 3 AP – Choose target hex. Any champion in or adjacent to target hex fall prone. If holding Godball, falls to hex of God’s choice.
Tempest – Barrier – 3 AP – Place barrier tokens in 3 adjacent hexes.
I'll start putting these onto cards, or try, anyway. If anyone thinks of others, I'll add them to the stack. Then we can give however many people want to participate the same deck and we can just try playing.

"What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to roll an 8."
"I'm going to roll an 8."

I like the balance between the attack/defense or barrier moves. Maybe a little more emphasis on movement and hindering movement, given how key that is to the goal?
How many cards do you envision in each deck - or maybe I should say, each portion of the deck that corresponds to a single god? I assume you want the same amount of each type of card in each god's deck, though perhaps with small variation - maybe some gods are better at one type of power than another.
How does the actual drawing and playing of cards go - i.e. to how many of these will you have access at a given moment?
